About Training Trails
Training Trails was founded by Georgie, who gained her Canine Behaviour qualification in 2023 and has over ten years of hands-on experience working with dogs across a wide range of breeds and temperaments.
Her interest in canine behaviour became personal early on, when her own dog developed behavioural challenges. She wanted to truly understand him rather than just manage the symptoms, which led her to learn more about dog behaviour and training.
She currently shares her life with a Romanian rescue dog and has helped her build the confidence to live a complete and fulfilling life.
That experience shapes everything Training Trails does. Every dog and every owner is different, so Georgie's approach is built around understanding the individual in front of her, adapting techniques, strengthening communication, and taking a holistic view of behaviour and training.

Georgie holds a Level 4 Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma with Distinction (BCCSDip.AdvCanBhv), earned over three years through the British College of Canine Studies. She is currently studying for a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Health and Nutrition — deepening her understanding of how physical wellbeing influences behaviour.
Training Trails is fully insured, Disclosure Scotland checked, first-aid trained, registered as a professional dog walking service with The City of Edinburgh Council, and accredited through the Dog Walkers & Sitters Association — because excellence in care should never be optional.
